Adam’s testimony went over the heads of most as it was the first one called following the dinner break. Edgar was called hours later, and his presentation drew the suspicions of the senate panel chair, who questioned its relevance to the budget and called for an end to the performance after two minutes.

The record of these performances is scheduled to appear on the internet shortly, but in the meantime, the Concord Monitor’s Ben Leubsdorf and satirical blogger Susan the Bruce have published their own analysis of the theatrics. From the Monitor:

The Senate Finance Committee got punk’d Thursday night.

The committee’s public hearing on the state budget was already past the four-hour mark (en route to a final running time of six hours) when a man who had put his name down as Edgar Friendly was called to testify.

He spoke and then shouted for a couple minutes about democracy being a “dying giant” and wanting to be able to choose his own food at a greasy spoon diner. Eventually, Sen. Chuck Morse told him to get lost.

“You’re done, okay? You’ve had your two minutes,” said Morse, a Salem Republican and the panel’s chairman. The man continued to yell for a bit, then stormed out of Representatives Hall.

Here’s what we know: Part of the man’s rant came from the 1976 film Network, and another portion was verbatim from the 1993 classic Demolition Man. (Edgar Friendly is the name of Denis Leary’s character in the latter movie.)

“Friendly” was being filmed during his testimony by Garret Ean, a former Republican House candidate and blogger at FreeConcord.org. Ean said the man was a performance artist – in fact, the second of two who spoke at the hearing.

Susan the Bruce’s blog hosted two articles on the hearing, both referencing the theatrics. The first is appropriately titled NH Senate Finance – One of the Worst Hearings Ever. The second, Free State Cult Puts on a Clown Show, focuses specifically on Sutler and Friendly’s performance.

Garret Ean is affiliated with the Free State Project, the cult that is moving 20,000 people here to take over our state, dismantle our state government, and threaten to secede. There were other members of the FSP present in the House chambers for this hearing.

It wasn’t just the committee that got punk’d. It was every NH resident who took the time to drive to Concord and testify. It was every resident that loaded up a wheelchair, and packed a bag full of supplies and medications they would need to sit there for hours, while they waited to testify. It was every resident that brought a child. It was the family that brought 2 ASL interpreters for their deaf son.

We know the FSP has no respect for NH government. Now we know they also have no respect for the people of this state.

The city of Keene has filed a lawsuit against myself and several other people regarding robin hooding (Respondents).  Basically, the city wants the court to issue a “preliminary” and “permanent” injunction “restraining Respondents, or anyone under their direction, supervision, employment, or control, from coming within a safety zone of fifty (50) feet of any PEO [Parking Enforcement Officer] while that PEO is on duty.” Additionally, the city wants to stop us “from video recording, within a safety zone of fifty (50) feet,” and “from communicating with any PEO.”

The city alleges that “Respondents have repeatedly video recorded, interfered with, taunted, and intimidated PEOs during the performance of their employment duties,” which is ridiculous for several reasons, most importantly, according to the job description for a city of Keene parking enforcer, “This position requires a person” to “relate with the general public” and “Endure verbal and mental abuse when confronted with the hostile views and opinions of the public and other individuals often encountered in an antagonistic environment.”

When the city first hired Peter Thomas (at a cost of $1,339.67) to film Robin Hooders, I responded to Keene police chief Ken Meola regarding requests very similar to ones listed in the injunction with this letter. The most important part of the letter was point 7 where I stated, “Robin Hooding is not about the parking enforcers. If it were about them, I could have made countless videos showing them violating laws (jaywalking, traffic violations, etc), acting rude, and any other mistakes they have made. Additionally, I do not interact with any of the enforcers when they are not on duty. I don’t follow them home or try to find them off duty. Once again, Robin Hooding is about saving people from getting parking tickets.”

This move by the city is a validation of how effective robin hooding has been in Keene with ALL of the parking enforcement officers stating that “Since December 2012, when this activity started, it has been noted that I have written less tickets than in the preceding time period.”

This case also validates that robin hooding and all activities performed by people robin hooding are perfectly legal because the city (Petitioner) admits, “Petitioner has no adequate alternate remedy at law.” Further, the city has resorted to a civil case against me and others instead of a criminal one providing more evidence that no criminal actions were committed.

I plan to address each of the case’s points in my answer to this lawsuit which I will post here.

Just as police attempted following the Chalking 8 case, by attributing negative actions not to any individual but to an amorphous group, the police and city bureaucrats shirk the task of properly placing responsibility for whatever allegation they are attempting to advance.

In other Keene happenings, the newest variety program from the Aqua Keene Parking Force premieres in under 24 hours. AKPF #1 will broadcast at Free Concord and Free Keene at midnight on the morning of May 13, and at 7:00pm on Cheshire TV.

I have been in the Keene Spiritual Retreat for a week or so now. I have been pretty busy with business and legal issues since then, so it has taken me a while to collect my thoughts. Here they are, I hope they were worth the wait.

First I want to thank my supporters for all their help, whether emotional, spiritual, or economic. Many have helped, but I especially want to thank my girl Wendy, my parents, Ian, James, Bill and Gail, Joan, Carla, and Jay. You guys make this bearable. You rock!

Secondly, I want to address all those who participated in the trial. I want you to know that whatever your involvement, whether Judge or Jury or Bailiff or Prosecutor or Cop, that I forgive you. The only exception to this is Phil Christiana, of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force. He has shown himself to be malevolent. Richie ratted out a friend, but not out of evil… just out of weakness and cowardice. I understand the fear he felt, and though I don’t condone his actions, I cannot blame the weak for their weakness… I can only pity them.

As to Phil, the central perpetrator of this injustice, the best I can do is hope to save your soul. You tried to blackmail me into betraying and entrapping my innocent but politically active friends. This is an unforgivable offense, until you realize the magnitude of your crime. I hope that a flood of postcards will reach you at your office:

and remind you of the Commandment “Thou shall not bear false witness against your neighbor”. Hopefully a good mashup of your testimony with that of those who told the truth, like the DTF agents, will remind you of your perjury. If blackmail and perjury by law enforcement seem to you to be a good way to convince Voluntaryists of the usefulness of government, please think again.
