On Thursday, while in Palmer, Massachusetts protesting the tax auction of Jay Noone’s former property, Ian Freeman was arrested outside of the auction room of the Palmer town hall. Police had taped up homemade ‘no recording’ signs around the building. Never telling him to leave and arresting him after numerous orders to turn off his camera, the police seemingly seized Ian for the noncrime of videorecording, and after the fact tried to patch up their work with the catch-all ‘disorderly conduct‘. Video of the recent encounter in Palmer is embedded below. A previous video from before the seizure of Jay Noone’s property made by Keene media was censored by government agents there.
